Power(s) House: Front Door

The previous owners were going for a tropical theme - we are not. Since we completed* the interior, the exterior is starting to wear on my nerves. Specifically the landscaping and the front door color. Here's our current front door (and yes, that is an alarm sticker smack in the middle of the door, a sticker that belongs on the window).

So, now to choose a paint color for the front door... It must coincide with our current exterior paint (a unnecessary project to take on at this time, or ever!)

Here are two colors we are looking at - a blackish midnight blue and a espresso/brown/gray color. (the colors may not look completely true on your computer screen due to calibration)

After we finalize the color and paint. We'll add a glass door, a new doorbell, peep hole/knocker and numbers on the door like this, but in something like this font. (these are fun too!)

So what color do you think we should use? Feel free to wander away from these colors. We're looking for something that really pops with a little bit of different added in.

*As complete as it is going to be until we unpack and find the decor we are looking for.
