Power(s) House: Carpet

What is it about carpet that seems like such a lifetime decision? We had a tough time deciding on what carpet to go with, until we determined which rug store to use. We chose Rug and Carpet on Western Avenue. The difference in price was very noticeable (in a good way) and the price they give you is for everything in one price per yard - pad, removal, moving furniture, everything! Their service is top-rated!

You may ask why we had to replace the carpet when the house is only three years old. The previous tenants must have been quite the furniture movers, pet lovers and food/drink spillers.

The carpet we choose to replace it with is a beige carpet with gray notes. It is amazing how good premium pad (Rug and Carpet's only choice) and nice carpet feels on your bare feet. We're in love!

Who knew you could be in love with carpet?! The only downside to this carpet is that it needs to be vacuumed a lot. Okay, probably not a lot, but freshly vacuumed carpet is so pretty!
