Park Benches

Travis and I have an affection to the Central Park benches. They are romantic, witty and a tribute to those people love. Each time we go to New York, we meander through the park reading each of the benches. I am happy to say that we have read them all now.

We enjoy these (& the park) so much that we have written in our wills to purchase a bench in our memory. Morbid maybe, romantic and fitting - yes. We look at it as something our grandchildren and so forth could remember us by and a way to preserve the park we adore so much (the profits of the bench goes to the conservation of the park).

This trip we took photos of our favorites to create some sort of montage to them. Of the hundreds of benches in the park - here's some of the great ones. Each bench has a personal connection to us, whether it be a saying that we say to each other or a funny memory of the park.
