A Power(s)-full weekend

*Note: I apologize for the text-wrapping of the photos. I'm having a technical errors this morning - not with the computer, but myself.

Lately our weekends have been filled to the brim with errands, weddings, family events, cleaning and the list goes on.

This weekend, we decided to make this weekend about the two of us - spending time together and relaxing.

On Friday, we enjoyed a random dinner and caught up on DVR shows.

A meal of snacks that we enjoy from time to time - anything goes, whatever is in your pantry. Below is an assortment of crackers, apples, craisins, cheeses, meats, olives, pickles and spreads with a little popcorn and beer on the side.

Saturday, we took a leisurely trip to Pops in Arcadia for lunch. We like to do this from time-to-time - drive far for a meal. Other road trips have included Victoria's in Norman, Jo's in Purcell, Old Germany in Choctaw, Eischens in Okarche. Anyways, it was a great meal, but we were stuffed to sickness shortly afterwards. Must have been the delicious french fries swelling slowly in our stomachs.

Saturday mornings with Travis - coffee and Dunkin Donuts. We run on DD and still miss our nearby location.

One sweetened tea for me and a Half & Half (tea/lemonade) for Travis.

Sunday was the laziest of all of the days. I was under the weather and Travis shortly followed. It was an uneventful, lazy day...just the way we like it!

Travis made BLT sandwiches with egg salad - yum! The best brunch in town is here at the Powers' house, didn't you know?

Thanks for spending the weekend with me, honey! I'll see you and your sandwiches in one month for the next Power(s)-full weekend - it's a monthly thing, ya know?
Back to my to-do list...
