First, we attended sunrise service at church. Let me just tell you that 5:30am on a Sunday morning is beautiful, yet exhausting! The service by Rev. Linda Brinkworth was divine! Just what we needed to start off the day! Travis' Mother and Grandmother joined us - what a delight! The four of us also attended the 8:30am service. The choir's rendition of "Alleluia" was breathtaking. We finished off our early morning with breakfast at Jimmy's Egg.
Since 5:30am arrived so early, Travis and I enjoyed a nap while listening to the soft rain on the windows. Perfection!
As a child, we both dyed eggs as an Easter tradition. Hey - you're never too old to enjoy a little dye on your fingers, right??
We each decorated an egg for the other - I guess great minds think alike! (they say I (heart) U)

Then it was off to the Pickens' (my parents) house for dinner! Yum! All in all, it was a beautiful day, despite the rain.
