The return of dinner club

Dinner Club returns the first weekend of June. Are you in?

What is Dinner Club you ask? Dinner Club is a melting pot of friends who haven't met before, or barely know each other, mixed with dinner and drinks and viola! you have Dinner Club.

Basically, Travis and I decided that we wanted to make new (more) friends, so we started Dinner Club. We get together a random assortment of friends for a great evening of dinner, entertainment and drinks. Each month a new couple hosts the meal (and determines the new invitees), while guests bring their own beverages to share. The host chooses the theme and participants indulge them.

*Note: couples aren't so random once it gets going b/c usually people make friends and continue to invite them to each dinner.

Examples of themes have been:

- Retro-kids night: Make your own pizzas with a pizza-bar of toppings, board games, kool-aid inspired adult beverages and favor bags filled with horns, chinese yo-yos, etc.

- 80's night: Fondue, retro-music, atari, etc.

- Weeeee-hola night!: Mexican food, margaritas, and wii! So much fun until you break out the tequila shots.

- Things you can dip night: Chips, fondue, fruit, oreos, anything the imagination desires, plus dancing.

So we're working on the first theme and look forward to sharing it with you. Looking forward to it! Theme determined by May 10, location - the Powerhouse!
