Our first Christmas

Christmas 2008 was magical! It was a holiday of firsts for many of the weddings I was a part of, 2008 babies and of course, our own first. While it was filled with lots of travel, it was perfection in a cup! We visited friends and family, and traveled near and far to see holiday lights. We enjoyed food and company ten fold and loved every minute of it! It truly is a magical time of year.
In addition to the wonderful visits, we were blessed with many wonderful gifts! It almost seems impossible that we could be given anything else after such a wonderful wedding in September, but low and behold here are three of our favorites...

Travis' sisters made us a wall hanging that spells our last name. Each letter is from somewhere in NYC, taken during the weekend of our wedding. Isn't it wonderful!?


My Mom and Larry gave us a snowglobe to remember NYC and our wedding by. We love it! It plays "New York, New York" and sits on our mantle for everyone to see.



And the latest addition to the wedding/holiday bliss... my new camera!!! My Dad and stepmother, Terry, gave it to us Saturday night. I love it and have enjoyed taking photos of everything in my way. I even slept with it next to my bed the first night we received it. Yes, I'm am a happy, happy girl!
