Bedroom Breakdown

With an impending move in sight*, we are busy dreaming of how to work our current decor into a newer house. It's kind of like bringing home a new puppy to a house of dogs - will the new puppy get along with the others? Hmmm...we'll see!

Thanks to two of our favorite blogs, This Young House and Jeremy & Kathleen, we've stolen their "mood board" idea and off we go!

First up, the bedroom! Thanks to our generous friends and family (and a wedding, to boot!), we have most of the items listed on this board. Just a few accessories and furniture to pick up for this spacious master room.

Why are we creating mood boards? Two reasons - one, so purchases are easier to pinpoint what we need and what we don't and two, so we don't move anything that doesn't need to be moved. There's a big garage sale in our future! Hooray!

Next up, the living room.

*Yes, we have found a house, but we are waiting until Natalie is gainfully employed. Fingers crossed!
